Location

Oia can be found on the northern part of the Caldera, 12 km away from Fira, the capital of the island. The village is situated above an impressive cliff, overlooking the volcano and the island of Thirassia.
Oia, also known as Pano Meria, is considered the most picturesque village of Santorini and holds the position of the most visited spot for sunset viewing, probably the most famous sunset in the world.
